A socialized school fee scheme ensures that no child is denied an opportunity to study on the basis of financial limitations. While this enables children from economically poor families to enroll in the school, it also means that the School cannot fully fund its operations on the basis of school fees alone. Instead, we reach out to build a larger community of support among those who share our vision of a world where all children have the opportunity to explore their gifts and talents while discovering their passion and purpose in serving humanity. Fundraising Needs 2024-25

As a non-profit initiative, GCWS is constantly challenged to mobilize resources to support the educational and infrastructural needs of the school. The needs identified below include support for children, for educational materials and equipment among others.

In the Current Situation

The School is growing fand working to improve major infrastructure. We still prioritize the inclusion of children from economically poor families and this opens the opportunity for outside help to bridge the financial gap and help support school operations.

Small (One-time. Php 1000 - 5000 or $20 - $100)

• Art Supplies / Classroom Learning Materials
• Support for nutrition (school lunch for children who lack adequate nutrition)
• Support for transportation (to and from school for children who cannot afford)
• Educational trip fund (for children who cannot afford)
• Library resources (For both children's books and teacher references)

Regular (Recurring. Php 1000 - 2500 or $20 - $50 monthly)

• Educational Support for a student from an economically poor family (school fee support)
• Teacher Support (for teachers who have to support siblings’ education or meet special family obligations that cannot fit into their minimal salaries. This also helps the school with teacher retention)

Mid-Level Php 10,000 - 15,000 or ($200-300)

• Teacher Training (support one teacher to attend one-week training course)
• Musical Instruments for Student Use
• Kindergarten Play Equipment

Larger Donation (Equipment / infrastructure)

• Science Equipment
• Special Projects (Disaster Relief for example)
• Playground / Playing Field / Multi-purpose Court
• New Buildings / Classrooms (Needs include: covered gym; kindergarten rooms)
• Canteen for improved school nutrition delivery
