A socialized school fee scheme ensures that no child is denied an opportunity to study on the basis of financial limitations. While this enables children from economically poor families to enroll in the school, it also means that the School cannot fully fund its operations on the basis of school fees alone. Instead, we reach out to build a larger community of support among those who share our vision of a world where all children have the opportunity to explore their gifts and talents while discovering their passion and purpose in serving humanity. If you would like to support our efforts, we invite visionary citizens to join us in creating positive, much-needed change in the world.
As a non-profit initiative, GCWS is constantly challenged to mobilize resources to support the educational and infrastructural needs of the school. The needs identified below include support for children, for educational materials and equipment among others.
Small (One-time. $20 - $100)
Regular (Recurring. $20 - $50 monthly)
Larger Donation (Equipment / infrastructure)
Special Project: COVID19 Relief Operation
In the community outside the school gates, many have lost their livelihood due to the enhanced community quarantine. This includes the tricycle drivers who have brought teachers and students to and from the school every day as well as others who live on their daily wages. Given the sudden lack of sufficient provisions, we have mobilized our school community—parents, friends, and supporters—for donations to create healthy food packs for distribution to the households. One successful distribution has already been conducted and with the extension of the quarantine, we expect to conduct additional food relief operations. If more donations come in, we will continue helping the community withstand this challenging time in any way that we can.
